As usual Saturdays would go, I voice chat with my sister back home. She was telling me that most cities in Metro Manila is underwater due to the non-stop rains brought about by Tropical Storm Ondoy.
I immediately went to newspages of Inquirer and ABS-CBN to check out what’s happening back home.
You can see this photo on the left (courtesy of Inquirer) how deep the flood water is.
On some news updates we heard it said that Manila is actually fortunate that it wasn’t high tide. If so, it could have been more devastating than what is being reported.
On another note, an OFW group has began calling on all citizenry around the world to help out our fellow kabayans on this devastating calamity.

Everyone is hoping for the best sa situation sa atin ngayon.
it is very unfortunate for our Filipino brothers to be hit by typhoon Ondoy. i have seen the massive flooding and the flood victims on TV and it is really horrible.
