Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino

yellow_ribbon

I am following suit what La Kapitana is starting.

As a Filipino and a woman I truly admire former President Cory Aquino for filling the shoes of leading our country when she was most needed.

Thank you, that when I was growing up, I did not have to experience what my parents had to go through during the Marcos regime.  Thank you for leading us and restoring Democracy in the Philippines!

What you can do:

  1. Create an entry entitled: Touch a blogger: Tie a yellow ribbon for Cory Aquino!. A link to this original entry will be appreciated, but is not required. (PLEASE link back to this site)
  2. Post a yellow ribbon in your blog for President Cory Aquino. Whatever form of yellow ribbon that your creative imagination can come up with.
  3. Invite other bloggers to tie a yellow ribbon for Cory.

    • Monique says

wala pong problema tita mel!

  3. darbs says

Kining Monique, hinarbat ko na pala ung “tie a yellow ribbon around the blog.”

Thanks.

  5. Snow says

let us all pray for tita cory….

  6. Monique says

Age shows ba? hihihi.

@snow, yes, at this point prayers will be the most important for her and for her family.

  7. Chi says

hi monique! im doing the same thing. I’m so glad that more and more are responding to this campaign. and for the first time. nangangatok ako ng mga bahay nyo. gaganda pla ng mga bhay sa bario! hehehe.

  8. Monique says

hello chi! I will also update my blogroll to include yung mga tga barrio… heheh.. i hope it also gets reciprocated. ;)

    Thanks for visiting!

  9. Chi says

yup! i’ll add you na nga. nagsisimula na ko mag add ng links. hehehe. sama ka don!

  10. Monique says

Chi, error ng error yung site mo… something wrong?

  11. Kurog says

Not being negative here but prayers won’t make her well… No matter how much healing masses will be held for her, it won’t work!

Kung gusto nilang gumaling si Mrs. Aquino, they should go to their rooms, turn down the lights, and pray silently…

Even you guys, na nagpopost ng yellow ribbons sa blogs nila, that won’t work… Say silent prayers for her… No offense to anyone but as the bible says, prayers made in public won’t be answered…

    • Monique says

      Hi Kurog,

It is not just about being “vocal” about this. Maybe you have a point where you go back to your room and close the door and pray to God in silent (Matt 6:6) … but then the prayer of 2 or more people agreeing on the same thing is also effective right?

We will never know the motives of those people who are taking advantage of the situation. Para makilala? nakikisakay sa bandwagon ng “hype” of all these? But hey, this one I can honestly say, for people who really believe that God will heal Cory, she will be healed. Oh you, of little faith!

  15. ElenaLisvato says

Generally I do not post on blogs, but I would like to say that this post really forced me to do so! really nice post.

  16. manila street says

i also wrote a post for ms cory :)

  17. Marvin says

  18. Massage says

Our staff members are convinced NoyNoy is the most logical option for the presidency in the Philippines, possibly not because he is the child of heroes Cory and also Benigno Aquino but because he is the inferior evil amongst the candidates. Sure we could examine concerning the Hacienda Luisita killings however in the end of the day his competitors possess significantly even worse records. He keeps accurate to his anti-corruption plan, plus amongst the other people vying for presidency he does not have corruption troubles. We met him one time on a party, he appears so good and well-defined and let me add a suitable gentleman as well.
